Inuit Carving by Pauloosie Padluq – Seal

Pauloosie Padluq of Lake Harbour, Nunavut, carved this beautiful seal of soapstone. The artist, well into his 90s, captured the animal perfectly. Measures 9″ (23 cm) long and 5″ (13 cm) high.
