Dene Basket – Red Flower by Marie Kotchea

Marie Kotchea of Fort Liard, NWT created this beautiful birch bark basket. A red flower is quilled on the lid. Crafted of birchbark, willow strips, spruce root strips, moosehide ties and porcupine quills, it measures 6.5″/17 cm in diameter, 4″/10 cm high.
